After getting over 70 inches of snow this winter we were pretty well trapped in the house and driveway. The snow was so deep and although we did play in it it was pretty exhausting for all. After we got the snow shoes it completely changed. He was totally confident walking on snow and ice (these things grip) and last weekend while sledding he pulled his own sled up the hill each time, no complaining (he's 4). I was really proud of him and I could tell he was proud of himself and having a great time.

My two older children love to walk in the deep snow and now my 3 year old can keep up! She took to these very quickly and didn't have any issues with falling down or tripping which were my concerns.

I got these for my 3-year-old son for Christmas, and they are great! The straps sometimes come loose and he ends up stepping out of them, but they are so easy to tighten that it's not a big deal and he hasn't been frustrated by that. We live in Vermont, and these have been a great way to introduce my son to an active winter lifestyle! He loves them so much that he wants to wear them even when there is no snow!
