You can find cheaper snowshoe bags but this one is well-designed and has more features than most others. The long straps allow you to carry it like a backpack on the trail. I've also strapped it to a separate backpack using the top handle. There is enough room inside to carry a jacket or other items on top of the snowshoes if needed. See photos for more details.

I have an older Atlas bag I got for my standard snowshoes, but needed another when I upgraded to a pair of backcountry shoes. This one ran about the same price, but is definitely a nicer bag, even though it isn't Cordura. The shape of the bag allows for easier placement of the shoes, as it is actually a bag with depth to it, rather than being a sleeve. It has two holes in the bottom, and a mesh strip on the front to allow moisture to evaporate. The zipper runs around the bag it is a panel, allowing for much better access. On the inside of this panel is a mesh pocket for things like gloves, and a zippered pocket for smaller items. Overall, a great bag.

The bag is a nice size; my MSR 30" Lightnings fit in it just fine. The extra pockets, straps, and handles are nice and something I wouldn't want to live without on a bag this big.
My one serious gripe is the velcro straps for the poles- they're way too short. I got a smaller MSR-branded bag for my wife's smaller snow shoes, and the pole straps on that bag are literally three times longer and are just perfect for attaching two poles. Meanwhile, this bag's straps are barely long enough to securely hold one trekking pole, trying to fit two in there is an exercise in futility. It's so bad that I wonder if I got a defective product. I'll probably attempt to lengthen them somehow with extra velcro.
